Pink The Rink, Explained

As exciting as it is for the Everett Silvertips to deliver their fourth win in five nights, the real story of the evening was another successful Pink the Rink Night at Xfinity Arena.

Pink the Rink night has become easily the most important event that the Silvertips put on every year, and the 8th annual event this evening was just as special as all of the years past.

Tips fans and T-Birds fans came rockin’ in their pink attire to support breast cancer awareness and the importance of regular mammograms for early detection. 7,678 fans were given flashing pink bracelets and they illuminated the arena, which created a powerful atmosphere and set the tone for the game.

The energy and electricity of the crowd made this win the most special out of the four in five nights, and our boys can enjoy a few days off knowing that they represented an important message tonight.

The Silvertips and their fans raised $81,335 for breast cancer prevention and treatment objectives.
