Tips Give Away Bobblehead Set Saturday, Solicit Toy Drive for Sunday
EVERETT, Wash. – The Everett Silvertips are scheduled to return home to downtown Everett on Saturday, Dec. 16 as they get ready to battle the Prince George Cougars at 7:05 p.m. Doors will open at 6:00 pm and the first 1,000 fans will receive a Carter Hart/Leland Irving bobble head courtesy of Washington HealthPlanFinder. Doors open at 3:00 p.m. for the Tips vs. Portland Winterhawks game on Sunday in downtown Everett, highlighting the finale of the Christmas House Toy Drive.
The Silvertips are encouraging fans to come to Sunday’s game with toys and cash donations (suggested $5) for Christmas House, a volunteer based organization that provides gifts to low income families in the Snohomish County. Last year Christmas House collected over 44,000 gifts for 8,000 children in 2,700 families.
Anyone who makes a donation will be entered into the drawing put on by Christmas House at the game on Sunday. Tickets remain available at www.everettsilvertips.com/tickets, offering the Sunday Fan 4 Pack starting at just $48 (39% savings).
The Silvertips have won a season-high nine consecutive games and enter Friday just three points behind first place in the U.S. Division.
