EVERETT, Wash. – The Everett Silvertips have placed forwards Ethan Browne and Mark Liwiski on team suspension, announced today by Silvertips general manager Garry Davidson.
Davidson issued the following statement:
“Mark Liwiski has been found to be in clear violation of team policy. As a result, he has been placed on team suspension, and has returned home indefinitely. We make it very clear that actions he decided upon will not be tolerated and the resulting consequences serve as firm boundary to maintain the culture we have established, and take seriously. We will have no further comment at this time.”
“Ethan Browne has been placed on suspension as he has clarified his wishes to return home to the Edmonton area. We respect those wishes, are grateful of his time served with the Silvertips, and wish him all the best for his future.”
The Silvertips active roster currently stands at 22 players (19 skaters, 3 goaltenders).
