Patrick Bajkov Invited to Vegas Golden Knights Development Camp

EVERETT, Wash. – The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips) announced today that forward Patrick Bajkov has been invited to participate in development camp with the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League and will skate at Las Vegas Ice Center from June 27 – July 1.

Bajkov will skate as part of the Golden Knights development camp roster which has 44 players, including 24 forwards, 15 defensemen, and five goaltenders.

Bajkov, 19, has only missed four games over the last three seasons and last year was the Silvertips leading scorer with a career-high 78 points (29g-49a) in 71 games, also leading in goals (29) and assists (49) while ranking second on the Tips with 11 points (5g-6a) in 10 postseason games. He was named co-recipient of the Silvertips Iron Man Award.

The 6-foot, 180-pound forward is eligible to return to the Silvertips roster this season as an “overage” player, was also tied for the program lead in game winning goals (5), first goals (6) and was third on the Silvertips with 27 power play points.

The native of Nanaimo, British Columbia has 270 career games played in the WHL, all in a Silvertips uniform, posting 188 points (79g-109a) while adding 21 points in 35 career playoff games.

Over the first 14 seasons of play for the Silvertips, a total of 17 players have suited up with the Silvertips then advanced to play in the NHL.
