Aidan Sutter named assistant captain of Silvertips

EVERETT, Wash. — The Everett Silvertips have named defenseman Aidan Sutter an assistant captain for the remainder of the 2022-23 season.
“Aidan has been an invaluable part of our group since Day One,” commented Silvertips general manager/head coach Dennis Williams. “He’s been a terrific, hard-working player and just an unbelievable teammate. He’s a great presence in our room and a fantastic person. We’re thrilled to name him an assistant captain as we continue to push to the playoffs.”
Sutter, an ’02-born Kamloops, B.C. native, first debuted with the Silvertips as an undrafted signee in 2019. Since then he has appeared in 155 career games on the Everett blueline, logging seven goals and 34 assists along the way. He has already recorded career-highs in assists (17) and points (19) in just 34 games thus far in 2022-23.
He joins Ben Hemmerling and Austin Roest as assistant captains this season, with Jackson Berezowski serving as captain.
