EVT 6 – TC 1 (3-22-19) // AOTW ARENA // EVERETT, WA: The Everett Silvertips erupted for a five-goal third period, led by captain Connor Dewar, who finished with two goals, paired with an offense that hammered 48 total shots on net, to blow past the Tri-City Americans, 6-1, before 4,610 at A.O.T.W. Arena on Friday night in WHL Playoffs action for a 1-0 series lead. Along with Dewar, forwards Max Patterson, Zack Andrusiak, Lucas Cullen and Martin Fasko-Rudas all notched goals in their dominating performance, as the Silvertips now hold a 1-0 lead in the first round.
