GAME RECAP: Berezowski nets OT winner, Tips complete comeback vs Portland 4-3

EVERETT, Wash. — Jackson Berezowski played Captain Clutch for the Everett Silvertips Saturday night, potting the game-winning goal in overtime against the Portland Winterhawks for a 4-3 victory.
Jacob Hoffrogge opened the scoring with a one-time goal at 1:47 in the second period. While Portland would tie it at 8:01 thanks to Marek Alscher, Austin Roest would grab back the lead at 14:05 with his team-leading 17th goal of the year- a redirection of a Ty Gibson shot from the point.
Portland surged ahead in the third period, with Josh Zakreski and Robbie Fromm-Delorme potting the game-tying and go-ahead goals for the Winterhawks. With time winding down, Ryan Hofer banged in an Olen Zellweger rebound at 14:11 to even up the score and force extra time.
Everett drew a crucial powerplay opportunity in the overtime period, and at 2:08 with a 4-on-3 chance, Hofer again crashed the net, generating a rebound for Berezowski to bury.
