GAME RECAP: Everett boasts sellout, blanked by Seattle 5-0

EVERETT, Wash. — Thomas Milic pitched a shutout for the Seattle Thunderbirds as they blanked the Silvertips 5-0 in Everett Saturday night.

Nico Myatovic opened the scoring on the powerplay for Seattle 8:56 into the first period, wiring a shot past Tyler Palmer for his first of two in the contest. His second came at 1:21 in the second period, tapping in a rebound for his 25th of the year.

Reid Schaefer added two of his own in the third period with Dylan Guenther also contributing his fifth as a Thunderbird to complete the scoring action.

Thomas Milic stopped all 32 in the win. Tyler Palmer saved 37 of 41 for Everett.

The Silvertips are on the road tomorrow taking on the Portland Winterhawks, with live coverage beginning at 4:30 p.m. on KRKO. They return home Wednesday at 7 p.m. hosting the Kamloops Blazers. Tickets are half-price for Midweek Madness and are available by clicking HERE.
