Jackson Berezowski named SnoCo CASA Silvertip of the Month for February
EVERETT, Wash. — Everett Silvertips forward Jackson Berezowski has been named the Snohomish County CASA Silvertip of the Month for February 2023 for his generosity with a young fan battling cancer.
Berezowski, an ’02-born Yorkton, SK native, noticed Carson sitting in the penalty box prior to the Silvertips’ game on Feb. 11. Carson, a seven-year-old battling Leukemia, is part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, with part of his Wish experience being taking in Silvertips warmups from ice-level. Several Silvertip fans held signs up in support of Carson in his battle with cancer.
Berezowski, in his second season as team captain, grabbed a spare stick from the rack and signed the blade with a personalized inscription and delivered it to Carson in the box.
“I heard somebody gave you a puck!” the Silvertips’ two-year captain greeted Carson in the box. “You might need a stick to shoot it with though. How about this one?”

Carson met with the entire Silvertips roster after the game outside of the team’s locker room, where he was greeted with fist-pounds and autographs.
