You decide: does Dustin Wolf’s big save in the playoffs, in robber-like fashion with the glove, make the cut, or does Dewar’s heroics in OT vs. Seattle – on Pink The Rink – get the edge?
The Silvertips Play of the Year carries on: the final first round matchup is a tale of two moments that have delivered heroics in sudden death overtime – in an emotionally charged game that extended beyond the glass – or Dustin Wolf helping seal Tri-City’s fate in an elimination game.

#4 SEED: That Save By Wolf: Dustin Wolf delivered jaw dropping moments during the whole season, en route to a 41 win season that broke a Silvertips single season record and eventually – a draft selection by the Calgary Flames in June. But none may be bigger than in a game where he shut the door on the Tri-City Americans in the midst of a Silvertip nine-goal romp in Game 5, and turned in an incredible glove save in the second period to help deliver the dagger. The Tips pounded Tri-City, 9-1 to win the first round series, 4-1.
#5 SEED: Dewar in OT: Pink Power: With the regular season barely underway, the attention turned from the dawn of a Western Conference title defense to a game that meant even more for the community. In the return of Pink The Rink, the Tips blew away a packed crowd with an emotional pre-game presentation and then endured a tight battle that extended past regulation, tied 1-1. In overtime, Bryce Kindopp (there he is, again) slipped pass from the right wing to Dewar, cutting to the net. Dewar blew the lid off downtown Everett with the game winner, in the Tips first meeting against the Thunderbirds.
