SELECT-A-SEAT // Silvertip Country Continues to Rise

Select-A-Seat 2019 Generates Nearly 400 New Silvertips Season Ticket Accounts, Increased Total to 1,000 New Accounts in Last Two Years

EVERETT, Wash. – The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips) hosted Select-A-Seat 2019 on May 11 at Angel of the Winds Arena in downtown Everett for new and upgraded Season Ticket holders and membership accounts, generating nearly 400 new accounts for the 2019-20 season and an increase of 1,000 season ticket and mini-plan accounts over the last two years, announced today by Consolidated Sports Holdings (CSH) chief operating officer Zoran Rajcic.

A total of 383 new accounts for the 2019-20 season were secured and a renewal rate of 90 percent for season tickets and mini plans from the 2018-19 season were generated through initial ticket deposits of $50, followed by individual, private seat tours from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at A.O.T.W. Arena on May 11. Select-A-Seat also offered VIP tours of the Silvertips dressing room facility, and an autograph session with Silvertips goaltender Dustin Wolf.

“Over the last couple of seasons we’ve dedicated ourselves to strengthening our outreach and renewing relationships that have defined Silvertip Country,” said Rajcic. “The positive results that we continue to pursue are indicated by a strong response at the gate, and another successful Select-A-Seat event that provided an intimate environment for our fans to take advantage of. We commend our fans and entire front office to make this possible.”

Over the course of nine hours, Silvertips sales executives and front office members walked over 45 miles to service new and upgraded season ticket accounts, with footwear orthotics provided by Althea’s Footwear Solutions. Individual appointments were booked in advance by RSVP and a $50 deposit for new and renewed accounts and provided a “one-on-one” approach to viewing available seats inside the upper and lower bowls of Angel of the Winds Arena.

During the day, Silvertips goaltender Dustin Wolf signed autographs from 1-3pm, the Silvertips Team Store offered private shopping opportunities from 10am-4pm, and season ticket holders were treated to complimentary and private Silvertips dressing room tours hosted by play-by-play voice Mike Benton, which included Q&A sessions with Wolf and Silvertips general manager Garry Davidson.

The Silvertips were named recipient of the 2019 WHL Business of the Year award for excellence in ticket sales, game night promotions, presentation, community involvement, broadcasting, and digital media. The Silvertips enjoyed their largest turnout for home games since the 2010-11 season, drawing 190,872 fans through the turnstiles at downtown Everett’s 8,134-seat Angel of the Winds Arena, and surpassed three million fans at the box office in 16 seasons of franchise history.

The Silvertips will announce their 2019-20 regular season and pre-season schedules soon.
