EVERETT, Wash. – The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips), two-time Western Conference champions and six time U.S. Division champions of the Western Hockey League, hosted a successful 2018 Select-A-Seat event on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Angel of the Winds Arena in downtown Everett.
Designed to provide a private and intimate “open house” environment to new and renewing Silvertips Season Ticket Holders, all individuals were invited to complete their purchase by a private, in person appointment with a member of the Silvertips ticket sales department. All individuals were offered a one-on-one appointment to view desired seat locations inside Angel of the Winds Arena, before each member hand-picked and reserved their seat for the 2018-19 WHL regular season, the 16th in Silvertips history.
Last season, 2017-18, the Silvertips were named Western Conference recipient of the WHL Marketing and Business Award, averaging 5,129 fans in attendance, their largest average per game since the 2011-12 season. The Silvertips were third in WHL Playoffs attendance, averaging 5,686 fans per game, third highest in the franchise’s postseason history.
“This last Saturday, we experienced a response and demand in Silvertips hockey from our community like we’ve almost never seen before,” said Consolidated Sports Holdings chief operating officer and governor Zoran Rajcic. “Our commitment to providing first class service to our Season Ticket holders resulted in a projected boost of 500 new season tickets, adding to a 92 percent retention from this last season. It’s proof that our region’s thirst for the game has developed into a full passion.”
Rajcic continued, “Heading into next season as defending Western Conference champions, we’re proud to continue building Everett as a hockey and entertainment destination city for all across the Pacific Northwest. We look forward to making that experience even more enjoyable in 2018-19 and thank all of our Season Ticket members for their support.”
