LAST TIME OUT:
EVT 3 – SPO 1 (3-5-19): A five game road trip opened up with the Everett Silvertips rallying from a one goal deficit in the second intermission, scoring three unanswered goals for a 3-1 victory over the Spokane Chiefs before 3,740 fans on Tuesday in WHL action at Spokane Arena. Already with the U.S. Division title in hand, the Tips claimed sole possession of first place in the Western Conference over idle Vancouver with their 22nd road victory, most in the conference. Ronan Seeley scored his first career goal, Dawson Butt netted the eventual winner, and Reece Vitelli landed a key insurance goal help put the game away late, backstopped by Dustin Wolf’s 24 saves.

  • BANNER BOYS: The Tips will hoist their seventh U.S. Division banner … their division title in 2018-19 is their third consecutive and they have won the U.S. Division four of the last five seasons … the Tips need six points to reach 100 for the third time in franchise history.
    • HOWLING WOLF: Dustin Wolf, named WHL Goaltender of the Week for the fifth time this season, has been listed along with Tips D Gianni Fairbrother to the NHL Central Scouting midterm rankings … he has the lowest GAA (1.72) in the WHL, and leads the league in wins (40), save percentage (.936), and shutouts (7).
    • HATS OFF TO THE TIPS: The Silvertips have earned four hat tricks this season … Jake Christiansen became the first defenseman in Tips history to earn a hat trick, Feb. 9 vs. Portland (5-0 win) … Connor Dewar, Bryce Kindopp and Zack Andrusiak had hat tricks in the prior three of four games.
    • BRYCE YOURSELVES: Bryce Kindopp has reached a career-high with 38 goals, tied for the Tips lead with Zack Andrusiak… entering the week, since Jan. 1, his 20 goals in 25 games lead the Silvertips and are tied 4th in the WHL … he has scored the last two of the last three winners either in the last minute of regulation or overtime and his 10 game winners are tied for the league lead with Tristan Langan and Brayden Tracey (Moose Jaw).
    • BLUELINE BOYS: Wyatte Wylie (45 points) and Jake Christiansen (43 points) are in the top 15 for scoring among league defensemen … Christiansen’s 218 shots and Wylie’s 206 shots are the top two among league defensemen, respectively.
