First of ten meetings this season against the Seattle Thunderbirds … rematch of last year’s first round of the WHL Playoffs … the Silvertips are 74-58-20 in 152 career regular season games against the Thunderbirds … the Silvertips eliminated the Thunderbirds in the first round of last season’s playoffs, 4-1 … the Tips are 49-20-1-2-6 at home in the series … it is the start of a four-game homestand and the first game of back-to-back nights … the Tips have won two straight games.


TONIGHT’S EVENT: Pink The Rink, presented by Safeway Foundation, in association with Providence Regional Medical Center … every ticket purchased will include an up to $7 donation to the Pink the Rink Fund, benefiting Providence General Foundation in support of breast health activities, mammograms for women, and services and support for men’s and women’s health in Snohomish County, for those facing financial challenges … the Silvertips have helped raise over $648,000 from the Pink The Rink event, providing approximately 5,000 free mammograms for women in Snohomish County … the Silvertips will wear specialty pink jerseys for the event, eventually auctioned in a “buy it now” offer.

EVT 3 – TC 2 (9-29-18): Riley Sutter celebrated the news of his entry level contract with the Washington Capitals by scoring two goals and added an assist, helping lift the Everett Silvertips to a 3-2 road victory over the Tri-City Americans before 3,076 fans at Toyota Center on Saturday in WHL action. Wyatte Wylie notched a pair of assists, giving him five in the first four games while Dustin Wolf turned in a 22 save effort. The Silvertips, only letting a pair of two-man advantage goals get by, went 7-of-9 on the penalty kill while turning in an efficient 2-of-3 effort on the power play. Sutter’s 3 points helped him surpass the 100-point mark in his Silvertips and WHL career.


  • ON THE RADAR: A pair of Silvertips, goaltender Dustin Wolf and defenseman Gianni Fairbrother, earned the position on NHL Central Scouting’s “Players to Watch” list for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft, next June in Vancouver … both players earned a “C” grade which projects a possible 4th, 5th or 6th round selection.
  • SPECIAL DELIVERY: The Silvertips scored two power play goals in last Saturday’s win at Tri-City … they are tied for 5th in penalty killing (85.7) … of the three power play goals allowed, two have come on two-man advantages.
  • LEADING THE WAY: Connor Dewar had a goal in his third straight game last Saturday … he leads the Silvertips with three goals this season … Dewar was named captain prior to the 2018-19 season.  
  • HELPING HAND: Wyatte Wylie had an assist in last Saturday’s win at Tri-City, giving him 5 assists in his first 4 games.
  • HUNGRY LIKE THE WOLF: Dustin Wolf, who had 4 shutouts in his first 16 games last season as a rookie, had two shutouts in five preseason games with a .927 save percentage … he has appeared in every minute as a Silvertip through three games and is ninth with a .930 save percentage.
