Undie Sunday 2023: An Explainer

EVERETT, Wash. — The Everett Silvertips are proud to bring Undie Sunday back this weekend, presented by E.S.C. Mattress Center! Fans are encouraged to bring a donation of new (preferably packaged) underwear, socks, jackets, hats and other warm garments benefitting Clothes for Kids as the Silvertips host the Spokane Chiefs on Sunday at 4 p.m.
This is the fourth Undie Sunday in Everett’s history, with last season’s drive raising over 4,000 items donated. The Silvertips also collected over 3,000 items in November 2019. All items collected immediately impact underprivileged and at-risk youth in Snohomish County or Northshore School District, with Clothes For Kids headquarters based in Lynnwood. Each ticket purchased through the Silvertips’ website forwards a monetary donation to Clothes for Kids as well.
Both youth and adult sizes are welcomed for any shirts, pants and undergarments. Doors will open at 2:45 p.m. for Season Ticket Holders and 3 p.m. for the general public. Donation boxes will be located by the main doors on Hewitt Ave. Information on other donations or volunteer efforts can be found on the Clothes for Kids website.
Remember to drop off your briefs when the Tips play the Chiefs!
