EVERETT – The Everett Silvertips are proud to announce a partnership with BECU on a “Fill the House” fundraiser to support Housing Hope at our 2012-13 season opener Saturday night at Comcast Arena. The campaign is designed to partially re-create a similar Housing Hope fundraiser held ten years ago as the very first official event inside the newly-constructed Everett Events Center.
Many low-income families in our area are currently without a safe, secure and affordable home. For the last 25 years, Housing Hope has been providing housing opportunities for these families throughout Snohomish County. From emergency shelter and transitional housing to affordable rentals and a unique homeownership program, Housing Hope gives these families a fresh start and an opportunity at self-sufficiency. For more information on the program, CLICK HERE.
Now you can help the Silvertips raise money for Housing Hope by purchasing tickets to our opening night on Saturday, September 22 vs. Prince George. When you CLICK HERE to participate in this special offer, $5 of every ticket sold goes back to Housing Hope. Tickets cost just $15 for the best available upper-level seats (with no extra fees) and can be purchased ONLY through the Silvertips’ front office. This offer is not available at the Comcast Arena box office, and tickets must be purchased by Friday, September 21. For more information, call the Silvertips at 425-252-5100.
“We’re very proud to partner with BECU to support an important local charity organization like Housing Hope,” said Silvertips Executive Vice President Zoran Rajcic. “The opening game of our 10th Anniversary season is an historic event for the Everett Silvertips and a fitting opportunity to get our fans involved in helping us raise money for their cause. It’s one more way for us to give back to this community.”
Season tickets, mini-game packages and single-game tickets for the Silvertips’ 10th Anniversary season at Comcast Arena are on sale now. For more information call 425-252-5100.
